Surface grinding machine working principle:
It mainly involves the rotating movement of the grinding wheel and the feed movement of the Machined part in multiple directions.
Main movement: The grinding wheel is directly driven by the motor installed in the grinding head housing. This is the main movement of the surface grinder, which is used to grind the Machined part.
Feed movement:
Longitudinal feed: The linear reciprocating movement of the table along the longitudinal guide rail of the bed is used to control the position of the Machined part in the direction of length.
Transverse feed: The grinding head makes transverse intermittent feed along the horizontal guide rail of the table, usually completed at the end of each round trip of the table.
Vertical feed: The grinding head slide moves along the vertical guide rail of the machine tool column to adjust the height position of the grinding head and control the grinding depth.
Auxiliary system: The electrical system and hydraulic system jointly control the upper and lower, front and back, left and right movements of the table to ensure the close contact between the grinding head and the Machined part, so as to ensure the grinding quality and accuracy.
